Tania Domett

Director

Tania is passionate about the power of research to help businesses and organisations make good investment decisions and grow stronger communities. Tania has over 15 years' experience as a researcher and policy analyst. Her expertise is in research design, online survey design and build, interviewing and focus group facilitation, and qualitative and quantitative data analysis. She is a skilled writer and presenter, and is adept at tailoring communication to suit diverse audiences.

Tania has previously worked as an economic consultant, and as a researcher and lecturer in the Department of Political Studies at The University of Auckland.

Tania has a Master of Arts Degree in Public Policy, with First Class Honours, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (Management), with Distinction. She is a member of the Aotearoa New Zealand Evaluation Association (ANZEA) and Research Association New Zealand.

Tania is the Founding Director of Cogo.

Dr Jennie Coker

Head of Research

Jennie has over 10 years' experience designing and implementing research for clients in the private and public sectors, spanning a range of industries including health, tourism, major events, and sport and exercise science. As a result, she is practiced at quickly familiarising herself with the specific needs of different businesses and organisations, allowing her to target the right information to help them to improve and grow.

Jennie has a strong quantitative background and highly skilled at interpreting research outputs to support clear recommendations for action. She loves working with clients who are passionate about their work and who are commissioning research to get answers to problems they really care about. She takes pride in turning complex needs and ambitious ideas into solid research that delivers.

Jennie has a PhD from the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences at Auckland University of Technology and a BSc, with First Class Honours, in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Bath. Before working at Cogo, Jennie worked as a senior consultant in an economic consultancy and as the performance analyst with Rowing New Zealand.

Jennie is the Head of Research at Cogo.

Stella Whitfield

Research Assistant

Stella performs a range of research activities at Cogo, including supporting us with desktop research, document analysis, literature reviews, and interview and focus group transcription.

Stella is currently studying International Relations and Public Policy at Victoria University of Wellington.
